This face-to-face interactive workshop introduces young people to the different types of abuse, in line with The Care Act 2014. The session aims to broaden participants’ understanding of abuse beyond common perceptions, helping them to identify signs and understand the impact. The workshop empowers young people with the knowledge and confidence to understand abuse, challenge misconceptions, and take action when necessary.
This is a face-to-face, interactive workshop designed to highlight current issues and risks in the online world. Students will engage in guided discussions and interactive activities focused on real-life scenarios, exploring the latest online threats and how to recognise them. The session will cover: Common online risks (e.g., cyberbullying, scams, phishing, inappropriate content). Strategies for maintaining personal safety and privacy and how to seek help. By the end of the workshop, students will be equipped with practical tools and knowledge to navigate the digital space more safely and confidently.
