Terms and Conditions for Project T.O.T Community Interest Company

Effective from: 20thMay 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Project T.O.T, a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales with company number 16461042, whose registered office is at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NE.

Please read these Terms carefully before engaging with our services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Project T.O.T exists to provide trauma-informed support, therapeutic services, and recovery programmes for children and adults affected by trauma. Our aim is to create safe, supportive environments where healing and personal growth can take place.

2. Eligibility

Our services are open to individuals:

  • Aged 5 and above (with parental/guardian consent for minors).
  • Who have experienced trauma and are seeking support.
  • Who agree to participate respectfully and responsibly in line with our code of conduct.

3. Referrals and Assessments

  • Clients  may self-refer or be referred by professionals.
  • An  initial assessment will be conducted to ensure suitability for the service.
  • We reserve the right to decline service provision if our programmes are not deemed suitable or safe for an individual’s needs.

4. Confidentiality and Safeguarding

  • All personal information is treated confidentially and in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • We operate under strict safeguarding protocols. If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, we are obligated to report this to the relevant authorities.

5. Parental/Guardian Involvement

  • For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to services and may be involved as appropriate.
  • We      require emergency contact details and relevant health or behavioural information.

6. Fees and Donations

  • Some services are offered free of charge, subsidised by grants and donations.
  • Where fees apply (e.g. private therapy), clients will be informed prior to booking.
  • All donations go directly to supporting our community services.

7. Cancellations and Attendance

  • Clients must notify us at least 24 hours in advance if they cannot attend an appointment.
  • Persistent non-attendance may lead to service withdrawal, particularly for free places.

8. Code of Conduct

  • All clients are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other service users.
  • Discriminatory, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from our services.

9. Service Limitations

  • Our  CIC is not an emergency service. In case of crisis, clients must contact  emergency services or crisis support helplines.
  • We do not provide diagnosis or prescribe medication.

10. Data Protection

  • We  comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Complaints Procedure

  • We are committed to providing high-quality services. If you are unhappy with      any aspect of our service, please contact us at [insert contact details].
  • A formal complaints process is available upon request.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website or made available at our premises.
